I tillägg till våra rutinanalyser så bedriver ALS Scandinavia forskning om isotopanalyser i nära samarbete med flera externa institutioner, framförallt enheten för Tillämpad Geologi på Luleå Tekniska Universitet. Detta samarbete har resulterat i ett stort antal publikationer, se lista längst ner på denna sida.

På ALS Scandinavias laboratorium i Luleå finns idag två multikollektorer ICP-MS (MC-ICP-MS); en Neptune och en Neptune Plus. Tillgången till denna instrumentteknik innebär att vi kan erbjuda flera högprecisionsmätningar av isotopkvoter (se våra analyspaket) som baseras på metoder som utvecklats under våra forskningssamarbeten.
